Stubb’s Mesquite or Hickory
Liquid Smoke Marinades

These barbecue marinades recipes can be prepared with either Stubb’s Mesquite or Hickory Liquid Smoke.

Ingredients:

½ cup Water
1 teaspoon Stubb’s Mesquite or Hickory Liquid Smoke
½ teaspoon Salt
Fresh ground Black Pepper to taste
dash Worcestershire Sauce or Soy Sauce to taste
½ lime, juiced (fresh only, no concentrate)

If you make this with Worcestershire Sauce add 1 to 3 tbsps finely diced Shallot to taste.

If you use Soy Sauce instead of shallot add 1 to 2 tbsps finely diced or grated fresh Ginger and 1 small clove of Garlic finely diced (1/2 to 1 tsp).

Stir well and place meat and liquid in a resealable plastic bag in refrigerator. Turn bag once halfway through your marinating time.

Remember the longer you marinate the stronger the flavor! Don’t overdo it; compliment the meat, don't overpower it.

This is great on salmon, chicken, beef, and pork.

More great marinades.
